FALLING FOR THE 40'S
It's Martin. Has it really been a month since my last post? Hard to believe eh? Anyways I'm back! Time is seriously flying by so fast... it's already Mid-October! I'm so excited because Fall is finally here and I'm able to layer up on my clothing. Also, I can't forget to leave out that I've teamed up with ASOS to show you some of the latest trends for the Fall. The style I've got going is for those who love a classic sharp look! I mean after all that'show I would describe my style.
For this look I went for a 40's inspired vibe. I'm a true believer that I was born in the wrong era because all of my looks are inspired by the 40's. With that being said what better combination is there than putting together Fall clothing and 40's inspired pieces? It's that time of the year where we need to start looking for thicker fabrics to stay warm in this still very bi-polar weather of NYC.
In my case I picked 4 statement pieces. The first being a gray flat cap; it's old school all the way. My second piece is a Waistcoat in Khaki which compliments just about any look. The third piece is a dark gray woven pair of trousers. This piece in particular keeps my legs warmer mainly because I tend to get really cold during this time of the year. Lastly, my fourth and final piece is a pair of lace-up shoes featuring the famous creeper sole with a black letter finish. I mean after all, what harm can a little boost in height do to ya?
At this time I'm not going to get into all the details, I just wanted to briefly give you a quick overview as to what I've been up to and some of my favorite fashion pieces for the Fall this year! I hope you're inspired by my choices and if you aren't - that's okay, just go out and explore. Don't be afraid to take chances and really began to evolveyour style. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
